At the Donahue Residence, the Mills Group created a unified aesthetic that integrated landscaping with the built environment, both inside and out, as part of a greater overall design that added square footage and updated the curb appeal of the house.
The purpose of this exterior renovation was to create a defined entry feature while treating the garage doors as secondary elements and adding a master bedroom suite. The design provided for exterior architectural components that mesh with proposed landscape arrangements. This took advantage of the existing topographic opportunities, working with rather than imposing on the landscape.
Consequentially, the clients were able to maximize the assets of their home and property by a complete approach that harmonized the interior and exterior, in a contemporary design.
