West Liberty University Media Arts Center

West Liberty University Media Arts Center

The Media Arts Center is a 10,600 square foot addition to the Hall of Fine Arts Building located on the campus of West Liberty University. The addition created a variety of new studios with qualities focused on optimum sound and audio control. New and renovated computer labs, a digital video and editing room, an engineer core, a recording studio and a television studio with an attached control room that currently produces numerous ongoing programs draws many students to the Media Arts program.

Renovations to the existing Hall of Fine Arts included classrooms, corridors and a new lobby/entrance that joins the existing theatre and classrooms of the Hall of Fine Arts with the newly constructed labs and studio spaces of the Media Arts Center.

The promotional and use of the Media Arts Center has been incredibly successful throughout the region. The University television station now airs business information, entertainment and cooking demonstration shows enthusiastically received throughout the West Liberty campus.
